Job Description
- Req#: 8604
- Comply with department SOP’s and safety procedures.
- Interact with other operating departments to expedite flow of work and information.
- Advise Management of operational problems impacting workflow and recommend solutions.
- Perform the duties of Set Up Clerk as necessary due to workload or staffing considerations.
- Complete various daily pending lists.
- Assist technologists with storage of completed work.
- Resolve sample problems with customer service and lab departments.
- Perform sorter start-up and routine maintenance.
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all CRL, CRL subsidiaries, legal entities and client information
- Be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all ILS, CLS, and WLS specimens.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Other duties as assigned.

The following physical attributes are required for this position:
EQUIPMENT: Centrifuge; box knife; computer; laboratory coat; gloves; face shield; pipettes; minus 20º freezer, ladders
OTHER: Shifts extend until work is finished; weekend work may be required. Specimens consist of body fluids and must be regarded as potentially infectious.
