- Manages day-to-day lab activities by working closely with team, Assist with the preparation and setup of laboratory experiments for verification. Ensure appropriate quality, QMS compliance corresponding to relevant regulatory requirements
- Maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring they are clean, functional, and properly calibrated.
- Keep accurate records of experimental/test data and laboratory inventory.
- Prepare and handle chemical solutions and reagents as per instructions.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies and consumables to ensure uninterrupted lab operations.
- Follow established protocols and safety procedures to ensure a secure laboratory environment for individuals operating in the lab as well as to protect environmental surroundings. Report any Safety incidents / near misses as per protocol.
- Collaborate with lab staff on various projects, providing technical support as needed for e.g. building test Jigs and fixtures required for R&D activities, procurement of equipment/consumables and intercompany items for testing
- Assist in the disposal of hazardous waste according to regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the lab supervisor or manager.
- Well conversant with ISO 13485 and ISO 14971.

Develops (parts and elements of) products, systems and/or solutions according to the V-model that serve user and business requirements amongst others by applying internal and external research results and technology advancements while taking care of the total system as well as inner workings of a design. Implement Quality Engineering, Purchasing Controls and Supplier Quality processes related to the development, procurement and continuous improvement of manufacturing materials, components, software, sub-assemblies, contract manufactured finished devices/products or services, and their introduction into Philips supply chain. Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and/or procedures for regulated products/processes. Ensure raw material and component specs and drawings are translated to supplier requirements, qualify suppliers, assess metrics of whether supplier products meet quality specifications, and audit suppliers critical to quality processes. Ensure that validations are completed where specified, and control plans exist to ensure the sustained quality and compliance of supplied raw materials and components.

· 3+ years of experience in any regulated industry with relevancy is required.
· Requires the ability to lead and influence others to achieve results.
· Knowledge of radiography and fluoroscopy products will be added advantage
· Knowledgeable on System integration (Mechatronics, FW, SW etc). Qualifies test systems and maintains system configuration as part of Model control for Product development and testing
· Ability to use technical knowledge to help members of the lab
· Disciplined team worker, ability to work independently
· Be structured and self-organized
· Excellent communication skills
· Team player, leadership skills and drive for results

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
