Prepare work orders for packing chromatography columns.

Assemble products and maintain optimal stock levels of solvents and hardware.

Manufacture security guard cartridges of various types and sizes.

Recycle failed columns according to established procedures.

Rotate through and be cross-trained in the following departments as needed:

Sorbent Room: Accurately weigh and label sorbents; select appropriate empty column assemblies.

Product Assembly: Assemble empty column hardware including end fittings, frits, and tubing.

Security Guard: Pack different sorbents into security guard hardware.
-
Recycling: Unpack columns and recycle materials per procedure.

Maintain inventory accuracy through timely transactions and supervised cycle counts.

Follow written instructions (SOPs) for all critical processes.

Schedule and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet production deadlines.

High School diploma required; 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to focus on tasks.

Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures.

Effective time management and organizational skills.

Previous experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.

Experience with inventory management and cycle counting.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and safety protocols.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Torrance, CA.

The assignment is for 6 months, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent role depending on performance and business needs.
Job Description: Lab Support Operator I (2nd Shift)
Shift: 2nd Shift – 1:30pm to 10:00pm, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $18/hour
