  Job Title: Lab Technician I
  Pay rate: $28.68
  Location: Onsite in Atlanta, GA
  Duration: 1 year

  Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior laboratory personnel to determine research procedures and techniques, recommending modifications as necessary.

  • Conduct specialized tests and procedures using complex laboratory equipment.

  • Procure supplies and materials needed for laboratory research.

  • Perform literature reviews to gather relevant abstracts and information for research use.

  • Analyze data, make statistical calculations, and prepare reports summarizing research findings.

  • Supervise the care of research animals, perform minor animal surgeries, and collect tissue and specimen samples for analysis (if applicable).

  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

  Qualifications

  • Degree in a related scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent work experience).

  • Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and scientific terminology.

  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and performing statistical calculations.

  • Ability to analyze data and prepare detailed reports.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
