      Main Responsibilities

      Preparation of Samples for Functionality Lab Tests

      Prepare and apply flavour samples according to formulations, including weighing, mixing, packaging, and labelling. Ensure the quality of raw materials and adherence to proper procedures during sample preparation. Maintain reference samples and ensure availability of created and group-coded flavour samples for colleagues. Communicate priorities and deadlines effectively to team members.

      Support to Creation in Flavour Preparations

      Prepare and apply flavour samples according to formulations, including weighing, mixing, packaging, and labelling. Co-manage stock of raw materials in Creation Lab, ensuring proper classification and storage. Prepare shipment samples and ensuring all packaging, labelling, and shipping requirements are met. Provide feedback on any issues encountered during flavour preparation and suggest improvements. Assist in applying flavours on various snack applications for evaluation using appropriate equipment.

      Support to Run Tests on Powder Functionality

      Execute basic analytical tests related to powder blend functionality, documenting results meticulously. Co-manage stock of raw materials in the Product Development Lab, ensuring proper classification and storage. Maintain tidiness and organization of labs, machinery, and analytical equipment, supporting senior team members in test setups.

      Additional Responsibilities

      Raw Materials and Snacks Bases stock Management

      Keep an orderly system for raw materials and liquid ingredients, including ordering and monitoring shelf life. Inspect incoming raw materials for quality attributes such as appearance, color, and smell. Maintain stocks of snack bases and document their arrival with relevant project details.

      Materials, Equipment, and Working Environment Oversight

      Ensure all necessary equipment is functional and report any deficiencies promptly. Adhere to cleanliness and safety standards to prevent contamination. Manage stock of packaging materials and supplies, collaborating with team members to maintain an organized lab.

      Administration Tasks

      Record of all tests performed in functionality lab in the proper system database with accuracy. Organize sample requests and dispatches using Atlas, maintaining accurate records of tasks. Track time and project registrations using Kronos, and set development goals through Engage. Proficiently use software tools such as Word, Excel, Google Mail/Calendar/Drive, SAP, and Open Text.

      Liaising with Different Departments

      Collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments including Creation, Sampling, Sales, Sensory, Quality Control, Analytical Department, GCASS, S&T, Operations, Supply Chain, and RIM.
