Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

As a Lab Technician, you will perform custom product making with media, buffers, and reagents in accordance with established protocols. You will execute a variety of packaging procedures, including manual pipette-filling, automated filling, and media preparation. Additionally, you will create buffers used in the scientific creation of products and utilize SAP to generate labels, complete orders, and document the inspection of finished goods.

Responsibilities

• Perform custom product making with media, buffers, and reagents in accordance with protocols.

• Prepare media and create buffers for scientific product creation.
• Utilize SAP to generate labels, complete orders, and document inspections of finished goods.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in media and buffer preparation.
• Experience with reagent preparation.
• Knowledge of Biology, Molecular Biology, and Chemistry.
• Understanding of GMP standards.
• Experience using SAP for documentation and order processing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's degree or entry-level bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in the scientific industry is advantageous.
• Passion and humility are valued personal traits.

Work Environment

This role is set in a laboratory environment where you will work with a team of 5-10 people on the first shift. Flexibility, hard work, and kindness are highly valued attributes. The team places a strong emphasis on communication and attention to detail. The work hours are from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
