- Ability to adhere to safety and compliance guidelines
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in the Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Laboratory Science, Environmental Science, etc.)
- High School Diploma required
- Previous lab experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute preferred
- Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills

Work Environment
This position is based in a Pathology Lab with working hours from Monday to Friday, between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. The schedule may rotate to include weekends depending on business needs. The lab environment is highly organized and requires adherence to strict safety and compliance protocols. This role offers the opportunity to gain hours and experience needed to qualify for the HT or ASCP Exam within a year of employment. Successful candidates who earn the HT or ASCP certification will receive a significant pay increase and have opportunities for career advancement based on performance reviews after their first year.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $18.25/hr.
