      SUMMARY:

      Under general supervision performs Quality Control tests as required by sampling instructions to evaluate all finished products and in-process samples. Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation as necessary. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment. This role works our 12 hr rotating shift (EOWO) schedule.

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      1. Perform Quality Control tests on finished products according to established procedures.

      2. Review analysis results and grade all finished lots when testing is complete.

      3. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.

      4. Enter all necessary data into the laboratory database system.

      5. Retain all finished samples and maintain retain storage in orderly condition.

      6. Train laboratory personnel, as required.

      7. Maintain clean and orderly workstations.

      8. Report and mitigate all unsafe behaviors.

      9. Identify and understand properties and hazards of chemicals.

      REQUIREMENTS:

      1. Life sciences degree and minimum 1 year lab tech experience

      2. Chemistry preferred

      3. Demonstrates good stewardship skills (Environmental, Health, and Safety).

      4. Strong written and oral communications skills

      5. Ability to work rotating shift and overtime, as needed

      6. Ability to multi-task, must be a quick learner and adapt to change

Other industries served by SNF include paper processing, textile printing, oil production, agriculture, and personal-care products manufacturing. The company has about a dozen polymer production facilities around the US.
