      Compensation

      Salary Range: $28.09 - $39.10 per hour

      Responsibilities

      Position Overview:

      The Labor & Deliver (L&D) Operating Room Technician is responsible for maintaining the L&D operatingrooms, creating and maintaining a sterile field during surgical procedures, assisting with maintaining theenvironment and equipment in L&D, entering surgical data from the perioperative report into the electronicrecord, and completing patient charges for surgical patients.

      Qualifications

      Required:

      • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
      • Graduate from surgical technologist school; or one (1) year of previous surgical technician experience
      • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
      • Basic computer skills
      • Must be able to report to site within 30 minutes if on-call

      Preferred:

      • Operating Room Technician (ORT) Certification
      • Previous hospital experience
      • Bilingual in English and Spanish
