Perform timely manufacture and analysis of manufacturing solutions and component materials to meet defined specifications.
Test and verify incoming materials using HPLC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and other tools.
Ensure the accuracy and validity of analytical data generated.
Troubleshoot analytical techniques for solution and material inspections.
Monitor and maintain equipment and methods to required standards, identifying trends and preventive actions.
Maintain stocks of all consumables, reagents, standards, and controls required for manufacturing solution and material inspection.
Approve raw materials and support their transfer through the manufacturing process.
Ensure laboratory processes comply with Quality and Regulatory requirements.
Ensure local quality and compliance requirements are considered when implementing new or changed methods within the lab.
Address Health and Safety concerns to reduce hazards and risks.
Support the development of new materials and test methods.
Align communications and business behaviours with our Centre of Excellence and Abbott Code of Conduct.
Develop cost-efficient business processes while maintaining compliance and quality.
GCSE level education is required.
Completed secondary education, preference for candidates with laboratory experience in regulated environments.
Experience working in a laboratory and using a variety of analytical/testing instruments is preferred but not required.
Exposure to GLP and GMP is advantageous.
Good communication and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Proactive and able to work within a team.
