- Work in a fast-paced and flexible environment supporting continuous operations.
- Train and run wet chemistry methods and instrumentation (e.g. HPLC, GC, GC/MS, FTIR) to determine concentrations and identify products and/or raw materials
- GxP experience preferred
- Able to lift at least 25lbs
- Experience running an HPLC, GC, GC/MS, and FTIR and chemstation experience
- Bachelor's degree in a Science Discipline or relevant work experience
Pay Grade: QALAB

Job Description
Stepan is seeking a Quality Assurance Laboratory Specialist to join our Quality team in Anaheim. In this role, you will report to the Quality Assurance Manager. This is a Union Position with the United Electrical Radio and Machine Workers of America Local# 1421. You will work independently to release raw materials that enter the plant, test inspection material from a continuous neutralizing unit, and release final materials to deliver to customers per the production and shipment schedules. You will also be responsible for general lab housekeeping, inventory control, instrument troubleshooting when needed, maintaining ISO 9001 compliance in the lab.
* This position is union. Per the CBA hourly wage is $35.75 for a probationary period of 180 days. Upon completion hourly wage increases to $41.75.
