      Laboratory Technician in Blood Sciences (Night Shift)

      9.30pm - 6am

      We are currently recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join our AutoLab/Blood Sciences team on the Night Shift, an ambitious professional looking to grow their blood science career with us.

        Job Description

        If you are a dedicated team player, currently in a medical laboratory, working in an Autolab/blood sciences environment (would be desirable), and looking for a new opportunity to incorporate your skills with a new challenge, join us and help to continue support our clients to ensure their experience of our service is industry leading. The main tasks of this role are processing of QC and samples in Autolab and maintaining all aspects of instrumentation including calibration, maintenance and stock control. Maintain ISO 15189 standards including records according to SOP. Use of Laboratory Information Management System in generating reports for clients. Deal with incoming departmental queries. Performing routine laboratory tests to a high quality as required in accordance with departmental SOP’s whilst maintaining ISO 15189 standards.

        Training and development support will be given to you to help your progression within the organisation.

        Working Hours: Night Shift 9.30pm - 6am

        Qualifications

        Education

        Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Biological Science

        Experience

        Experience in an Autolab/Blood Sciences environment desirable

        Skills & Abilities

        Candidates must have the personal competence and capacity to properly discharge the duties of the role
