Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform micro lab testing for 80% to 90% of the day
• Conduct remedial tasks such as documentation and cleaning for one to two hours daily
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Utilize lab equipment and perform tasks such as plating and pipetting
• Cross-train and move into additional lab areas as performance improves

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in biology and microbiology
• Experience with laboratory equipment
• Plating and pipetting skills
• Ability to perform tasks independently

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in the Sciences

Work Environment

You will work in a laboratory environment all day, performing micro lab testing for the majority of your shift. The role involves some remedial tasks such as documentation and cleaning. This position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for cross-training and career advancement within the company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.72 - $22.79/hr.
