Contingent Laboratory Technician for the US Multicultural R&D Team Our team is responsible for the development/implementation of products for Unilevers textured hair and skincare brands in the US. As a lab technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the formulation development of current and new innovations. Day to day responsibilities will include: - Following process instructions to formulate various beauty & personal care formulations efficiently and with good attention to detail. - Maintaining a laboratory notebook which captures formulation details, SOPs, and notes for the duration of each claims experiment. - Maintaining a clean and safe laboratory work area while adhering to Unilever safety protocols. Requirements for this position include: - An educational background in science which includes chemistry laboratory. - Good Record Keeping, Time Management, Team Working, and independent worker. - Positive attitude and critical thinker, Good Communication skills - Knowledge on basic laboratory equipment; hot plates, heating mantles, mixing units, etc. - Familiarity of chemical processes, surfactants/emulsions is a plus. - Prior lab work experience is a plus. - Intermediate computer skills o Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency preferred, with skill at communicating results via a written report. Other requirements: - Employee must be able to occasionally lift up to 35lbs - Employee must be able to be on their feet for a significant portion of the day - Must be proficient in EnglishAbout the company
