      You have completed a Bachelors Degree in a related field, or experience in lieu of degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in a similar role for at least 7 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

      You may have also acquired the following skills:

      • Experience in a unionized environment, working with and interpreting collective agreements.
      • Bachelors/Masters degree in Human resources, organizational management, etc.
      • Demonstrated extensive experience making independent decisions related to areas of compliance and employee relations
      • Experience operating independently in an HR role as point of contact with leadership team
      • Data analysis and management skills

      Your Opportunity

      This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Labour Relations Specialist in Kincardine or Pickering, Ontario, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

      • Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates labour and employee relations strategies including policies, programs and procedures to ensure alignment with enterprise methodology and best practice.
      • Supports a cooperative and collaborative labour relations approach by providing consistent application and guidance on the collective agreement and maintaining positive working relationships with union representatives.
      • Conducts research and provides recommendations regarding the interpretation of collective agreements and makes recommendations on resolutions of labour relations matters.
      • Leads activities and maintains strong understanding related to hiring, negotiating, maintaining, and ensuring adherence to the organizations’ collective agreements.
      • Manages grievance meetings and the preparation of case files, including background research on specific aspects of the case.
      • Acts as point of contact for employment standards compliance, performance management actions, employee retention strategy development, compensation program management, etc.
