      This is an opportunity to join our skilled, friendly, professional, and caring team, we are looking for an experienced midwife who wants to be part of the exciting future plans within Maternity. We are a unit who provide personalised care for women, babies and their families ensuring a first class service and experience.

      The successful candidate will be committed to leading the day to day activity on labour suite whilst ensuring the safety of mothers and their babies.

      Main duties of the job

      You will be required to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team, demonstrating excellent communication skills and sound knowledge of both low and high risk midwifery. You will act as a professional role model to the wider team, setting examples to all disciplines.

      • Registered midwife
      • ENB 997/998 or other qualification in teaching and assessing or equivalent
      • Evidence of further professional development relevant to current post
      • Evidence of management/leadership training/skills

      • PMA/ Willing to undertake PMA training
      • Evidence of advanced midwifery studies
      • Newborn Initial Physical Examination
