Required: Experience working with Mother Baby couplets in low and high-risk situations

Certifications:

Required: Must be currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession (such as Registered Nurse, Must be certified as an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC or RN IBCLC). AHA BLS.

Responsibilities

Conducts prenatal breastfeeding classes and evaluates educational outcomes. Provides outpatient care, consultation, and home visits for families experiencing breastfeeding difficulties. Serves as consultant for physicians and other healthcare providers concerning lactation as it relates to patient's health problems.
