      HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

      • Working within a team of systems engineers developing technologies, defining systems architectures and integrating these to deliver an optimised Landing System solution for the next generation of aircraft.

      • Pioneering the inclusion of digital technologies that enable integrated vehicle health management, including new sensor technologies, data analytics and science and digital twin concepts.

      • Contributing across the development V within an R&T scope: From requirements, virtual and physical test, safety and DAL, co-development of engineering, manufacturing and services.

      • Working with Technical and Project leaders to ensure that activities are completed on time, within budget and to quality. Actively identify risk, opportunities and mitigations.

      • Identify and work with new collaborators including non-industrial partners e.g. Research institutes and academia to seek, scope and deliver solutions.

      • Compile and deliver Milestone and Technology Readiness Level Reviews including Process Assurance.

      • Adherence to Airbus Processes & Procedures with a continuous improvement mind-set.

      • Identify opportunities to reduce the environmental impact of Landing Gear systems.

      ABOUT YOU

      • A degree or strong technical background in Systems Engineering , Avionics ,Hydraulic / Mechanical Equipment or similar.

      • Experience in aerospace systems and specifically landing gear systems is preferred but not essential.

      • An interest in or experience with, prognostic monitoring, digital twins, aircraft health management, connected aircraft, data science or analytics.
