About Join Ascendion's Q for Business initiative—a forward-looking AI/ML team focused on generative AI experiences and transforming how professionals interact with business data. We're seeking a Language Data Scientist II to help drive innovation in language modeling, data analysis, and AI system design.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and data curation to support model training and evaluation.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to improve LLM performance.
• Annotate and analyze language data to guide model improvements.
• Perform error analysis and evaluation of NLP models and datasets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industry experience in data science and/or research roles.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in data science projects.
• Exposure to large language models (LLMs).
• Strong scripting experience (Python preferred).
• Minimum Master's degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Data Science, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree may be considered with significant industry experience.
• Preference for candidates with an industry-focused background.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between

$125000- $140000 Annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
