Job summary
Mid Hampshire Healthcare is pleased to be launching a new Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) service in the Wokingham area and we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team.
In this role, you will work closely alongside our nursing staff to support the safe and efficient delivery of contraceptive care in a patient-focused clinic environment. Two days per week initially, Mondays & Fridays - 08:30 am to 5:00 pm.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a new service aimed at improving access to essential reproductive healthcare. If you're a compassionate, skilled HCA with an interest in women's health, we'd love to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for attending to patients who wish to be seen by a health care professional within MHH services, namely; Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC Coils and Implants) assistance.
The HCA will project a positive and friendly image to our patients and other healthcare professionals and ensure that clear channels of communication exist between clinical and administrative teams., with the aim being to improve quality of life and a positive healthcare experience to service users.
