As a member of the Sales Support & Operations team, our Large Group Coordinators are responsible for the internal preparation of paperwork and onboarding of RFP quotes, new and renewing 101+ employer groups. Additionally, they are responsible for analysis of benefit details including variations; deviations; and customization requests, as well as primary administrative and technical support to the sales & service team and downstream departments for onboarding activities.

      What You Bring to Cambia:

      Qualifications:

      Large Group Coordinator would have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 1-2 years of progressive experience in healthcare, such as sales and marketing, sales support, customer service, claims, membership or equivalent combination of education and experience.

      Skills and Attributes:

      • Demonstrated ability to use MS Office products and other corporate software. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of Underwriting and Marketing guidelines.

      • Comprehensive knowledge of health insurance and products available, new industry developments (i.e. Healthcare Reform), sales processes, terminology and operational flow.

      • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication and customer service skills.

      • Demonstrates effective working relationships with cross–functional departments within a team environment (i.e. Group Services, Underwriting, Product Build, Claims, Membership, ASO Unit, etc.).

      • Demonstrated knowledge in the Configurator Tool process including in-depth knowledge of large group benefit plans, and a strong working knowledge of benefit documents.

      • Demonstrated experience in recognizing problems and effectively resolving complex issues.

      • Ability to organize and prioritize to meet established deadlines.

      • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects and/or group activities simultaneously.

      What You Will Do at Cambia:

      • Manage all internal operations for new and renewing 101+ fully insured and ASO accounts, serving as liaison between Sales/Account Executives and internal departments to support overall sales goals.

      • Reviews benefits documentation and prepares professional quote portfolios, ensuring accuracy of legislative mandates and benefit changes in coordination with Underwriting and other teams.

      • Leads implementation and onboarding processes, coordinating conference calls, managing timelines, and ensuring accurate processing of all documentation for timely group activation.

      • Ensures accurate system configuration of group benefits, claims processing, and membership eligibility according to intended plan design through proper documentation (GMA, GAF, contracts, etc.).

      • Prepares and coordinates group enrollment eligibility files, including formatting carrier files for Facets autoload with all required fields and coordinating processing with relevant departments.

      • Creates customized member welcome materials and coordinates printing/delivery of benefit plan documents including SBCs, SPDs, and contract amendments.

      • Tracks new and renewal groups from start to finish, working directly with other departments to resolve setup questions and issues while monitoring all sales processes.

      • Identifies and approves group customization needs such as custom ID cards, EOBs, and network configurations in collaboration with Customization Specialists.

      • Addresses technical issues related to systems, processes, and procedures while communicating solutions to the sales team.

      • Provides administrative support for client health and benefit fairs and answers day-to-day operational questions regarding quoting, customization, ACA requirements, membership, billing, and eligibility.

      The expected hiring range for a Large Group Coordinator is $27.20 - $35.10/hour depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 10%. The current full salary range for this role is $27.20 - $45.70/hour.
