      An opening is available for LAS Maintenance Technician in the Watershed Services Department. Overall duties include but are not limited to installing piping, maintenance and repairing of the irrigation system of the Dalton Utilities Land Application System in accordance with company and regulatory standards, Treatment of Reservoirs, and Clearing Right of Ways with Various equipment and Tools.

      Work schedule for this position is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7:00 a.m. - 5:00p.m. Holidays that fall within a regular work schedule may have to be worked.

      Required Skills:
      Operates various types of equipment and tools in the performance of duties such as a Truck Trailer, Front-end Loader, Backhoe, Pipe Fusing Equipment, Piping and Hand Tools, Tamp, Chainsaw, Cutoff-Saw, Tractors, Bush-hogs, Boats, etc.; Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to walk long distances in various conditions and weather.

      Education/Certification/Licensing Requirements:

      Level 1 will be required to achieve a Class III Wastewater License.
