The Paediatric Department at Morriston Hospital, Swansea, are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join their team to undertake a 4-month Fixed term LAS ST1/ 2 post. Post will commence 15th April 2024 until 3rd September 2024. Post is not able to be extended beyond this date currently.
Main duties of the job
We wish to appoint a LAS ST1 to our general paediatric service. The successful applicants will join a team of 12 ST1/2 level (Tier 1) paediatricians to work together to deliver and develop general paediatric services in SBU Health Board. They are expected to participate on the tier 1 full shift rota (1:12 rota with prospective cover). In addition to this, there will be specific responsibilities in relation to the Paediatric Assessment Unit, the Out-Patient Department, liaison with the Accident & Emergency Department and other specialties.
