Assist counsel and carry a case load of files, from beginning to end, including preparation for court proceedings
Communicate with clients and other legal professionals
Draft pleadings and motions, draft undertaking letters and charts, create various legal briefs, and summarize documents
Understand the need to provide confidential clerking support to counsel
Support counsel while attending trial and hearings

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of three years of relevant experience

Experience with trials and/or hearing preparation
Knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Insurance Defence Litigation, with an emphasis in Accident Benefits and Bodily Injury work
Knowledge of court and tribunal filing systems
