  You are playing a key role in bringing complex, large-scale industrial projects to like for leading customers across Europe. But you are doing more than just designing layouts, you are designing the flow of the entire production lines, seamlessly integrating machines like bagging systems, conveyors, and palletizers into one cohesive operation.
  
  As a Design Engineer, you are part of an experienced and collaborative team, translating technical requirements into smart, efficient layouts that work on the customer’s site. You bring structure and creativity together, ensuring every solution is tailored to the customers’ specific needs. You think ahead, adapt fast and always keep the big picture in mind.
  
  Your role

  As a Design Engineer, you play a key role in translating project requirements into practical, workable designs. Additionally, your responsibilities include:

  • Develop 2D layouts and occasionally 3D animated layouts based on the customer requirements
  • Provide technical advice to team members and customers on layout solutions
  • Support project and sales teams with visual materials like simulations and animations
  • Optimize layouts with a focus on performance, cost-efficiency and reliability
  • Contribute to improving and developing both new and existing equipment designs

  What you bring

  • A degree in engineering (or similar)
  • Strong skills in 2D CAD systems (AutoCAD) and good knowledge of 3D tools (SolidEdge)
  • Relevant working experience in a similar technical/engineering role
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • A flexible and hands-on mentality

Maar je doet meer dan alleen lay-outs ontwerpen – jij zorgt ervoor dat volledige productielijnen functioneren. Je integreert machines zoals afzakinstallaties, transportbanden en palletiseermachines, zodat alles perfect op elkaar aansluit.

  Als Design Engineer maak je deel uit van een ervaren en samenwerkend team en vertaal je technische vereisten naar slimme en efficiënte lay-outs die functioneren in de productieomgeving van de klant. Je combineert structuur met creativiteit en zorgt ervoor dat elke oplossing is afgestemd op de specifieke behoeften van de klant. Je denkt vooruit, past je snel aan en houdt altijd het grotere geheel in het vizier.

  Jouw rol

  Als Design Engineer heb jij een belangrijke rol in het vertalen van projectvereisten naar praktische en uitvoerbare ontwerpen. Verder houd jij je bezig met:

  • Ontwikkelen van 2D-lay-outs en af en toe 3D-geanimeerde lay-outs op basis van klantvereisten
  • Technisch advies geven aan teamleden en klanten over lay-outoplossingen
  • Ondersteunen van project- en verkoopteams met visuele materialen zoals simulaties en animaties
  • Lay-outs optimaliseren met focus op prestaties, kostenefficiëntie en betrouwbaarheid
  • Bijdragen aan het verbeteren en ontwikkelen van zowel nieuwe als bestaande machineontwerpen

  Wat jij meebrengt

  • Een afgeronde opleiding in werktuigbouwkunde (of vergelijkbaar)
  • Sterke vaardigheden in 2D CAD-systemen (AutoCAD) en goede kennis van 3D-tools (SolidEdge)
  • Relevante werkervaring in een soortgelijke technische/ingenieurspositie
  • Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in het Engels
  • Een flexibele en proactieve werkhouding
