Inviting applications for the role of Consultant – HVR Administrator!
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior HVR Tool Specialist with hands-on experience in managing and optimizing data integration processes using the HVR (High Volume Replication) tool. As a key member of our data integration team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting data replication and integration.
Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with clients and internal teams to gather data integration requirements, understanding the business logic, data sources, and destinations.
2. Install, configure, and maintain the HVR software platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
3. Develop and implement data replication solutions, including source-target mapping, data transformation, and error handling mechanisms.
4. Monitor and troubleshoot data replication jobs, addressing and resolving any issues to minimize downtime and data loss.
5. Collaborate with database administrators, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration with various databases and applications.
6. Fine-tune HVR configurations to optimize data replication performance, adjusting as needed to meet changing business needs.Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with other data integration and replication tools will be a plus.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies is beneficial.
- Advance programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or PowerShell.-bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
-practical experience in data integration and replication using the HVR tool in an enterprise environment.
- Strong expertise in configuring and managing HVR, including installation, setup, and optimization.
- In-depth understanding of data replication techniques and technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages for data manipulation and automation.
- Familiarity with various database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
