What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Independently coordinate, conduct, and document compliance inspections at complex air pollution sources
- Review annual reports and source test protocols, assess test results, and respond to complaints
- Draft enforcement actions and make recommendations to correct violations
- Serve as a liaison between program leadership and inspectors, ensuring clear communication of standards
- Develop operational guidelines and procedures to enhance inspection practices and efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ten (10) years of experience in environmental-based work or related fields
- Knowledge of applicable state, federal, and local air quality regulations
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts using emotional intelligence
- Proven capability to communicate technical information clearly, both orally and in writing
- Experience in conducting compliance inspections and assessing enforcement measures

- Experience with environmental compliance programs and enforcement processes
- Robust understanding of mechanical processes and air quality pollution control equipment
- Experience with Air Quality regulations
