Reporting to the Coordinator, Therapy Services, and as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, the Leader, Acute Therapy Services provides supervision and direction to designated staff and is responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality patient/client-centered acute therapy services. This position coordinates acute therapy services with the multidisciplinary team and provides leadership in day-to-day operations of acute therapy services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training And Experience
Graduate of a recognised Physiotherapy Program.Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).Knowledge of current therapy standards for occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech/language pathology, modalities and scope of practice; knowledge of the processes related to continuous quality improvement; and four (4) years recent related experience, including two (2) years in a supervisory capacity and two (2) years acute therapy service management experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
