      Overview

      AS America Inc., d/b/a American Standard Brands in Piscataway, New Jersey seeks Leader Project Management R&D, Fittings to manage implementation of programs, focusing on new product development, cost reduction, and product improvement programs for bath and kitchen faucets.


      Responsibilities

      Oversee project plans, timelines, budgets, team members, and resources while monitoring the process from concept through implementation.

      Monitor project progress and measure performance using appropriate tools and techniques

      Identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate with all stakeholders.

      Coordinate the work of project team members to ensure project goals are achieved

      Track new component status of in-house and purchased items

      Develop and maintain project schedules

      Identify risks and formulating and executing abatement plans

      Facilitate x-functional design reviews, DFMEA’s or deploy other DFFS tools as needed

      Report progress to senior management in regular Stage Gate presentations

      Monitor cost for both project and product assuring actual cost is on target / within budget.


      Qualifications

      Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

      Must have 2 years of experience in job offered or related position.

      Must have experience with the following:

      Supervising/managing other employees

      Manufacturing processes such as casting, die casting, plastic injection molding, machining decorative finishes, and assembly

      New product or process design/development

      Knowledge of MS Project or equivalent project management software

      Must be bilingual in English and Spanish

      Position permits remote work throughout the U.S.

      Position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.

      Position will supervise two Process Engineers.


      Hiring Range

      (Salary offer to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)

      Other Compensation (if applicable): This role will be eligible to participate in the annual Short Term Incentive plan.
