      Job Summary

      Fortune 250 company seeking future business leaders to help foster growth, efficiency and innovation as a Sales & Marketing – Leadership Development Associate (LDA). The Sales & Marketing LDA role identifies solutions and influences business decisions based on analysis and communication. The LDA will serve in a full-time role within Sales & Marketing while participating in a structured orientation to CSX, Sales & Marketing, and the Railroad industry.

      ***Please Note: CSX's Leadership Development Program will start in June 2024.

      Primary Activities and Responsibilities

      • Work with business partners to analyze marketing, operating, and capital projects to understand economic tradeoffs and help make real-time business decisions
      • Communicate analyses through presentations to senior management in the department and business partners from other departments

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s Degree/4-year degree
      • Less than one year of work experience
      • Business Administration, Business Management, Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science. Required to be completed by May 2024 with a GPA of at least 3.0 (based on a 4-point scale) overall

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Graduate Degree
      • One or more years of work experience

      Knowledge and Skills:

      • Ability to deliver presentations to senior level audiences
      • Ability to analyze complex business issues and make sound business decisions
      • Strong oral and written communication skills
      • Microsoft Office skills
      • Knowledge of corporate financial principles and practices
