Responsibilities
Lead and support assigned internal customers, leveraging Lean principles, which includes 6 Sigma, theory of constraints, Lean strategy development execution, change management and Project Management. Designing and developing Lean 6 Sigma programs, including supporting systems and tools, for quality and business process improvement. Leading and managing Lean 6 Sigma project portfolios to achieve measurable business process improvements. Providing technical training and guidance for Green Belt professionals on the planning, development, and implementation of Lean 6 Sigma projects.
Employing Lean 6 Sigma methodology into organizational operations to meet business goals and objectives.
Leads, manages, and supports projects related to process and product improvements using Lean, 6 Sigma and project management methodologies to achieve business goals. This position directly supports Building Construction Product facilities in North America, Griffin GA, and possible other facilities in Southeastern North America.

Lean 6 Sigma Methodology : Knowledge of the concepts of six sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control ) methodology; ability to use the methodology to improve the manufacturing processes and control the improvements by eliminating root causes.
Level Working Knowledge:
· Analyzes business priorities for selecting potential critical metrics.
· Uses tools (e.g., trend charts, Pareto charts, sigma conversion chart) to measure historical performance.
· Research important causes that have an impact on quality and customer satisfaction with the use of statistical tools.
· Resolves routine problems in a cost-effective manner.
· Reports deviances from process improvements.
What You Will Have- Skills & Experiences:
The Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt must have the ability to build and support continuous improvement efforts in operational and transactional functional areas. Maintaining credibility and adding value throughout the values streams, providing direct feedback and clear communications to develop a shared Lean execution plan to improve value for our customers through process, service, and product improvements.
Basic Qualifications:
Associates or Technical/Vocational degree or equivalent (post-high school education of some sort)
Minimum 3 years of experience in Order to Delivery (OTD), which can include product development, engineering, quality, purchasing, manufacturing, accounting, human resources, and operations.
Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.
Strong project management and team leadership skills.
Proven communication and facilitation skills
Ability to execute and support change with agility.
Top Candidates May Also Have:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Information Systems, or Business, or an equivalent level of work experience
5 + years directly managing or supporting Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain / Logistics, Material Requirements, or Global Purchasing
Experience as a Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt (DMAIC/CPS) or equivalent
Previous supervisory experience
Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing concepts.
Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.
Additional Information:
The ideal location for this role will be in Athens GA, Clayton NC, Cary NC, or Sanford NC.
Anticipated travel could be 50% or higher depending on location of selected candidate (Athens location travel would be higher, North Carolina locations, travel will be up to 25%.)
