Job Description

- Coordinate and train instructional staff, set testing standards and procedures
- Hold instructional staff meetings
- Assist in development of program marketing materials
- Facilitate a link between Basic Skills skaters and other skating programs within the facility
- Organize Basic Skills competitions, ice shows, exhibitions, and camps
- Any other activities that will help grow the program
- Maintain a current list of program participants, class attendance, and test records
- Register all program participants with U.S. Figure Skating
- Act as a resource for prospective and existing participants
- Work with Ice Rink Manager and Marketing staff to raise awareness of ice skating and related activities
- Promote ice skating within the community
- The Assistant Learn to Skate Director will have an average of 30 hours per month of administrative duties.
- The Assistant Learn to Skate Director will be present for the start through to end of all Learn to Skate lessons, competitions, shows, and exhibitions.
- Extensive skating background and understanding of the program
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience designing and overseeing program operations
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Must be able to promote, market, and attract people to the program
- Must have excellent customer service skills

Position Summary
Responsible for assisting the Learn to Skate Director for the Learn to Skate program management as it relates to clubs, youth & adult programs, exhibitions, shows, and competitions.
This role will pay an hourly rate between $20 to $25.

This position will remain open until Sept 1, 2024
About the Venue
Angel Of The Winds Arena is a three venue, state-of-the-art multi-purpose complex located in the heart of downtown Everett, WA. This seamless complex offers a NHL regulation ice rink open year-round, diverse arena space that can be used for WHL hockey, basketball, indoor football, trade shows, concerts and more; as well as a full conference center that can host conventions, meetings, weddings, banquets, and more.
