      Bryant & Stratton College’s Learning Center Coordinator is responsible for sustaining an environment of academic and profession excellence for students and educational team members. The Learning Center Coordinator supports students and learning through academic support, tutoring services, technology resources, study and learning resources, and customer service. The Learning Center Coordinator works closely with all campus departments and associates including academic advisors, faculty, admissions, and librarians, utilizing BSC’s personalized education approach to support student success and retention endeavors.

      Essential Position Responsibilities:

      1. Coordinates tutoring services, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising student peer tutors.
      2. Assists at-risk students to remain in classes and succeed academically.
      3. Assists students with BSC technology resources including ordering books, using email, accessing Banner SSB, Virtual Library, Smarthinking, and Optimal Resume
      4. Assists campus-based students taking on-line courses.
      5. Assists with library coverage as needed.
      6. Assists with testing services, including proctoring placement tests, tests with accommodations, or other tests as needed.
      7. Assists with New Student Orientation
      8. Encourages and assists the formation of study groups.
      9. Facilitates communication among students, faculty, advisors, and administrators to support achievement of successful student outcomes.
