Job Summary
The Learning Experience Specialist is part of the EOD department, dedicated to supporting an engaged, innovative, and competitive workforce and organization. Reporting to the Senior Director for Employee Experience and Organization Development, the specialist designs and develops instructional content, promotes the use of the learning management system (LMS), manages the website and social media presence, develops strategic learning plans, analyzes metrics, and assesses campus learning needs. The role involves coordinating workshops, managing reporting efforts, and collaborating with campus stakeholders to foster a learning culture.
Department Summary
The HR and EOD departments within Cal Poly support approximately 3,000 employees through recruitment, benefits, employee relations, professional development, workforce planning, and engagement initiatives, aiming to cultivate employee excellence.
Key Qualifications
Education and Experience
Equivalent to a four-year college degree plus four years of relevant experience. A graduate degree may substitute for one year of experience.
Salary and Benefits
Anticipated salary range: $85,000 - $101,340 annually. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, retirement, and educational benefits. For more details, visit our benefits website.
