      Job Description:
      Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr

      Responsibilities:
      • Setting up and configuring the LMS: The LMS Administrator is responsible for setting up and configuring the LMS to meet Client't specific needs.
      • This includes customizing the "look and feel" of the system, creating user accounts, generating reports, and establishing proper security and access controls.
      • Adding and managing users: The LMS Administrator adds and manages users within the system, assigns permissions, and ensures that users have access to needed resources.
      • Supporting content development: The LMS Administrator supports the creation and management of courses and other content, manages online courses, uploads content from other systems, assists with the creation of quizzes and tests, and facilitates the student assessment process.
      • Providing technical support: The LMS Administrator provides technical support to all levels of system users and troubleshoots any system issues in conjunction with the solution provider.
      • Monitoring the system: The LMS Administrator monitors the performance and security of the LMS to ensure it is operating optimally and securely.
      • Updating and maintaining the system: The LMS Administrator updates and maintains the LMS inclusive of testing and implementing software releases, bug fixes and security patches.
      • Maintaining integrations: The LMS Administrator ensures all system integrations between the LMS and external systems are operating correctly and efficiently.
      Education:
      • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other related discipline.
      Certifications:
      • Certified Learning Management System Administrator (CLMA) and/or Certified in the Governance or Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or other relevant certification highly desirable.
      Experience:
      • At least three (3) years of experience as a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator.
      • Working knowledge of databases and fundamental database operations.
      • Working knowledge of multiple web design technologies such as HTML and Javascript.
      • Working knowledge of course design and development.
      • Working knowledge of learning principles and instructional design processes.
      • Working knowledge of project management principles.
      • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Visio, etc.).
      • Working knowledge of the Acadis Learning Management System is highly desirable.
      • Experience with LMS administration in a law enforcement environment is highly desirable.
      Skills:
      • Demonstrated "hands-on" experience as an LMS Administrator.
      • Strong understanding of technology and, specifically, learning management and related software applications.
      • Excellent writing and oral communications skills.
      • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly.
      • Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently.
      • Strong attention to detail.
