- Manage the administration of the digital classroom environment, including updating content, tracking learner progress, and generating reports to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation for Learning Innovation’s procedures and ensure compliance with training processes and policies.
- Leverage project management systems (e.g. Jira) to track and manage tasks, timelines, and deliverables effectively. Must have the ability to work between multiple projects, staying organized and up to date on all tasks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for learners, trainers, and other parties regarding Learning Innovation’s initiatives, resolving inquiries and updating the Director of LED as necessary.
- Track training completion rates, assess participant feedback, and generate various reports, including those on attendance, satisfaction, and compliance.
- Provide technical support and training to users of the digital classroom, assisting with issue resolution and ensuring a seamless experience.

- Collaborates with Learning Innovation and business leaders to conduct user-centric research and analysis that matches business objectives and learning objectives.
- Conducts performance-based measurement assessments for objective evaluation of learning experiences and programs.
- Performs course uploads to Alliance Safety Council’s learning delivery systems.
- Prepares training status reports, presentations, and other communications as required.
- Consults with members of the Learning Innovation team to confirm program/system objectives, operational procedures, and system/program constraints.
- Along with the team, conducts recertification efforts as needed for Alliance Safety Council programs.
- Remains current on developments in training and instructional methodologies, including technology enhancements, and attends periodic seminars, forums and meetings to ensure a best-in-class learning experience approach.
- Assists in the onboarding, technical training, and coaching of staff who require access and use of learning technology.
- May perform other related duties as assigned.
- Working knowledge of Moodle preferred.
- Must be proficient in advanced functions of spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with business intelligence tools (such as Power BI or Tableau) preferred.
- Must be competent in all functions of the standard issued Alliance Safety Council computer software.
- Working knowledge of Jira and other Atlassian products preferred.

Summary
Dynamic and collaborative professional to support and enhance our learning innovation initiatives. This role is central to managing the digital classroom environment, from content administration and learner tracking to comprehensive reporting and technical support. You'll be instrumental in developing documentation, managing multiple projects using systems like Jira, and conducting user-centric research to align learning with business objectives. This position also serves as a key liaison for all learning inquiries, ensuring a high-quality and compliant learning experience for all participants.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a subject-matter expert in digital learning environments for other positions in the department and across the organization.

While performing the duties of the Learning Operations Specialist, the employee must be able to withstand performing typical office work, which involves extended periods of sitting at a computer station and performing computer-related work, which generally involves repetitive motion tasks on a computer keyboard and viewing of multiple monitors for prolonged periods. The employee must also be able to stand for extended periods of time, be able to regularly walk, climb, balance, stoop and kneel and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The Learning Operations Specialist is expected to work Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work sporadically after-hours, as dictated by business need.

The Learning Operations Specialist is a key member of the Learning Innovation team. As a learning professional, the Learning Operations Specialist is responsible for providing guidance, information, and assistance to Learning Innovation leadership, internal teams, and our training partners.
The position serves as a learning systems administrator responsible for creating programs and learning paths across the learning technology landscape, answering questions about learning technology, and escalating concerns about the learning technology to the technology team until a resolution can be reached. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience working in a learning operations or closely related role.
The individual must also demonstrate competence in written and verbal communications, analytical skills, and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment. The Learning Operations Specialist brings proven attention to detail to their role and works well in a team environment, managing multiple priorities and projects with minimal direction, and establishing and adhering to standard processes and policies to scale an efficient Learning Operations team.
The individual must demonstrate competence in task management prioritization. This position works both independently and in collaboration with teams across Alliance Safety Council, requiring a high degree of interpersonal skills such as listening and responding, curiosity, checking for understanding, and follow-through.
A bachelor’s degree in instructional technology, training and development, or a closely related field is required. Higher education preferred. 5+ years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
