What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage student accommodations and create Learning Profiles in collaboration with the School Counselor
- Create PLAAFPs and participate in IEP meetings for students
- Run a daily advisory group or manage other teacher/advisors at the campus
- Coach teachers on academic solutions and assess student progress through benchmarks
- Organize testing arrangements with College Board and ACT, including managing accommodations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's Degree
- 2-3 years of experience as a learning specialist
- Understanding of various learning styles and the ability to coach teachers
- Commitment to differentiated and project-based learning
- Experience with gifted and/or twice-exceptional (2e) students is a plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working directly with gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) students
- Strong skills in creating instructional support plans for individual students
