      The Opportunity

      The Learning & Skill Development (LSD) organization, plays a crucial role in instilling a digital culture and providing necessary information and skills to our Commercial and Medical Group (CMG), including employees, managers, healthcare providers, and patients through advances in skills management, digital learning, experiential learning, and workflow learning, LSD is transforming CMG into a continuous learning culture.

      As a Learning Technologist in LSD, you will lead the research, planning, and development of digital learning solutions aligned with the broader LSD Digital Learning Strategy, driving digital engagement and a culture of learning to meet CMG's objectives.

      Key Responsibilities

      • You will be responsible for researching, developing, and embedding new learning technology solutions and digital experiences into the internal learning ecosystem, including documentation for adoption.

      • You will demonstrate an innovative and strategic approach to design learning technologies, digital learning experiences, and stakeholder engagement, incorporating digital capabilities into existing and future learning initiatives.

      • You will collaborate with instructional designers, user experience designers, and stakeholders to align on design approaches and implement transformative digital learning experiences.

      • You will build relationships with third-party vendors, evaluating their platforms and tools for value in meeting digital experience needs and services.

      • You will act as an expert advisor, educating colleagues on learning technologies, sharing findings and expertise, and fostering a digital mindset while analyzing learning technology needs and collaborating with stakeholders for improvements and alignment with CMG Training & Development strategies.

      Who you are

      Required Qualifications & Experience

      • You hold a Bachelor’s Degree; In lieu of a degree an additional 10 years of experience is acceptable

      • You possess 6+ years of experience in digital solution development, learning technologies, training and development, or related project management, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries.

      • You have 5+ years of leading digital tools and services projects, from RFP to project completion and ongoing maintenance and development

      • You have 5+ years of experience of demonstrated expertise in web and/or other learning technologies, CMS, LMS, authoring and content management tools, as well as analytics and reporting.

      • You have assisted in onboarding and mentoring employees, while also engaging in higher-level stakeholder management and influencing decisions.

      • You utilize expertise to support stakeholders and manage performance of junior colleagues

      Preferred Experience

      • You have a graduate level degree or higher degree

      Location Requirements

      • The role is based in South San Francisco and must be available to work onsite, during business hours or as needed to meet the needs of the business

      The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $144,600.00 - $268,500. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
