Job Description
- Req#: 24147
- Work with internal stakeholders in the procurement, integration and implementation of a new Lease Administration System within Realty Services
- Document, standardize and automate business models; process mapping for new processes and development of standard operating procedures for the lease administration solution implementation
- Validate, perform document abstraction and input data to the lease administration solution/database as required
- Work with vendor/solution provider to troubleshoot issues with the system solution
- Research, develop and implement a new or enhanced tools and create supporting documentation and training for the processes associated with the Lease Administration Project;Update key performance indicators and metrics; monitor, report and prepare recommendations to drive efficiencies, continuous improvement and innovation
- Conduct operational assessments/reviews to measure the efficacy of the new lease administration processand identify areas for improvement
- Provide consultation and advice to Managers and Director as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
- University degree in Business or equivalent
- minimum 5 years work experience in lease administration or real estate document abstraction, experience in data migration an asset
- Knowledge of various functions within a real estate department and the department's synergy with internal stakeholders such as Accounting/Finance, Legal, Property Management and Taxation
- Document management, experience working with various lease administration systems
- Experience in conducting research, data collection/analysis and report writing
- Exceptional research, problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to abstract complex leases,licenses and other limited interest agreements
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills (databases, Excel)

Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, Land Management, the successful candidate will be part of a highly collaborative team and participate in the procurement, development, integration and implementation of a new lease administration system solution that will enhance the management and administration of leases and other limited interest agreements within the City’s Realty Services department.
