      Job Summary

      Responsible for daily operations of assigned oil and gas wells to include all processing equipment, record keeping and reporting. Must evaluate and maintain peak production performance for each individual well on assigned routes.

      Essential Duties & Responsibilities

      • Perform job functions with concern for safety and environment.
      • Optimize each well on assigned route given daily operating conditions.
      • Must be responsible and accountable for managing all fluids on assigned route.
      • Check all equipment daily and make normal repairs by troubleshooting site situations.
      • Produce accurate reports on all regulatory items on a daily basis.
      • Report problems requiring additional help or equipment to Supervisor.
      • Accurately record meter readings, pressures, and production volumes for reports.
      • Always work professionally and respectfully with landowners and others while performing job.
      • Other duties and responsibilities as may be required at the direction of the Production Foreman.

      Qualifications

      License/Certification

      • Valid driver’s license with motor vehicle records acceptable by Caerus’ insurance carrier.

      Industry Experience

      • Minimum 4 years’ relevant work experience in the oil and gas industry.

      Specialized knowledge

      • Basic math skills required to calculate tank volumes and gas flow rates.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
      • Clearly define the components, function, and purpose of production equipment. (i.e. separator, tanks, wellhead)
      • Clearly define the components, function, and purpose of downhole tools including various types of plungers, bumper springs, and other equipment used for artificial lift.
      • Exhibit knowledge and understanding of well work activities including workovers, slickline/wireline, and swabbing operations

      Skills & Abilities

      • Willingly ask questions and seek guidance from supervision.
      • Show initiative by actively seeking advanced knowledge.
      • Must be computer literate to include use of laptop and related technologies.
      • Must be a self-starter. Possesses the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
      • Must possess the ability to operate manual tools related to well maintenance including, but not limited to, shovels, wrenches, rakes, and the like.
      • Must be accustomed to performing tasks in potentially adverse conditions.
      • Exhibit ability to train and teach others acquired knowledge
      • Exhibits ability to utilize advanced optimization settings and understands their function

      Working conditions

      • Position is 80% outside field environment and subject to potentially adverse weather elements.
      • This position is subject to federally mandated drug and alcohol testing

      Compensation and Benefits

      • Hourly Pay Range
        • $32 - $37.50 per hour
