      Salary: $17.50 per hour
      Part-Time 25 hours per week

      POSITION SUMMARY:u00A0

      Responsible and accountable for leasing apartments and providing customer service to ensure maximum occupancy and resident retention. u00A0

      RESPONSIBILITIES:u00A0 u00A0

      • Lease apartments through telephone sales and apartment tours with prospective residents.u00A0

      • Follow up and establish rapport with prospective residents and current residents.u00A0

      • Provide excellent customer service at all times.u00A0

      • Present apartment community in a professional manner at all times.u00A0

      • Coordinate move ins and move outs to provide for an enjoyable experience for all residents.u00A0

      • Manage lease negotiations, assist with resident retention and manage the renewal process.u00A0

      • Assist in providing and maintaining excellent curb appeal.u00A0

      • Maintain compliance policies and procedures as set forth from HKP and the Compliance Department.u00A0

      • Write work order requests, follow up with residents regarding completed work orders and enter information into Yardi.u00A0

      • Assist manager with rent and delinquency collection.u00A0

      • Assist manager in providing account information to the property supervisor and credit agencies.u00A0

      • Assist manager with resident relations and enforce all community rules and regulations.u00A0

      • Supervise all neighborhood committee activities.u00A0

      • Provide outside marketing and establish rapport with local businesses and community agencies.u00A0

      • Assist with office organization by filing and maintaining organized resident files.u00A0

      • Other duties as assigned.u00A0

      QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTSu00A0 u00A0

      • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)u00A0

      • Prior Tax Credit experience strongly preferred.u00A0

      • Must have strong communication and people management skills.
      • Must understand customersu2019 needs and respond to them, connecting them with the right solution; must be able to market and sell.
      • Must be very organized, with a strong attention to detail; must stay on top of paperwork.
      • Must be flexible and able to shift priorities if needed.
      • Computer Skills u2013 Beginner experience with MS Office.

      • Annually attend fair housing, section 42 and leasing classes.u00A0

      • Ongoing professional development.u00A0
