      About the Role:

      The Leasing Associate plays a crucial role in the real estate development and management industry by facilitating the leasing process for residential and commercial properties. This position is responsible for attracting potential tenants, conducting property tours, and ensuring a seamless application process. The Leasing Associate will also maintain relationships with current tenants to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention. By effectively marketing properties and understanding market trends, the Leasing Associate contributes to maximizing occupancy rates and revenue generation. Ultimately, this role is vital in creating a positive experience for both property owners and tenants, ensuring that properties are leased efficiently and effectively.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in real estate, business, or a related field is preferred.
      • Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the real estate industry.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and tenants.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Real estate license or certification.
      • Experience with property management software and leasing tools.
      • Knowledge of local real estate market trends and regulations.

      Responsibilities:

      • Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
      • Assist in the preparation and execution of lease agreements and related documentation.
      • Respond to inquiries from potential tenants and provide information about properties and leasing terms.
      • Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, lease agreements, and property listings.
      • Collaborate with property management teams to address tenant concerns and ensure property maintenance.

      Skills:

      The required skills for this position include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, which are essential for building rapport with potential tenants and addressing their needs. Sales skills are utilized daily to effectively market properties and close leasing deals. Organizational skills are crucial for maintaining accurate records and managing multiple tenant applications simultaneously. Preferred skills, such as familiarity with property management software, enhance efficiency in tracking leases and tenant interactions. Additionally, knowledge of local market trends allows the Leasing Associate to provide valuable insights to clients and make informed leasing decisions.
