      Summit Medical Group is recruiting for a Leave Administrator. This is a full time posiiton. This position is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of employee leaves, including FMLA, ADA, personal, military, and other time-away programs. This role is the internal coordinator for all things leave, ensuring that employees and managers have a seamless, informed, and supportive experience. The Leave Administrator serves as the primary point of contact for Matrix, our third-party leave vendor, and ensures all cases are handled with the highest level of service and compliance. This role also plays a key role in the ADA interactive process and return-to-work coordination.

      Examples of Duties (List does not include all duties assigned)

      • Administer and manage all employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, ADA, personal, military, and other statutory and non-statutory leaves.
      • Serve as the main point of contact for Matrix, ensuring they have everything needed to process leave cases accurately and promptly, including medical certifications and documentation, and that they are delivering service aligned with our expectations.
      • Coordinate and provide guidance on qualifying life events (QLEs), such as marriage, birth, adoption, or loss of coverage, ensuring timely updates to benefits and compliance with applicable regulations.
      • Monitor all leave cases to ensure they are handled properly, proactively engaging Matrix when issues arise.
      • Coordinate the ADA interactive process, including collection of medical documentation, accommodation discussions, and collaboration with leadership.
      • Manage the return-to-work process, ensuring employees are supported and documentation is complete.
      • Deliver white glove service to employees, providing guidance, answering questions, and ensuring a compassionate, consistent experience throughout their leave.
      • Train and support managers on the leave process, expectations, and compliance requirements.
      • Partner with internal teams (Payroll, Benefits, HR Coordinators) to ensure accurate pay, benefits continuation, and status updates in UKG.
      • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential leave records in UKG.
      • Act as internal liaison to coordinate the ADA interactive process, including review of recommended accommodations from Matrix, review of medical documentation, accommodation discussions, and collaboration with leadership.
      • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support policy refinement to enhance the leave experience.
      • Assist with audits and contribute to the development of internal documentation and employee-facing leave materials.
      • Stay up to date on federal, state, and local leave laws and ensure timely application of updates.
      • Other benefits duties as assigned.

      Education

      Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred

      Experience

      3+ years of experience in leave administration, benefits, or HR compliance; healthcare experience a plus
