- Evaluate claims and make sound recommendations
- Develop files demonstrating appropriate decision-making
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with various stakeholders
- Determine financial liability and manage claims processing
- Adhere to federal and state laws for group disability insurance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Develop understanding of insurance provisions and contracts
- Analyze and interpret vocational and medical information
- Manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
- Communicate professionally with high customer service standards
- Proficient in personal computers, Microsoft applications, and company systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Disability, PFML, FMLA experience
- Leave Absence Management experience
