POSITION SUMMARY: Under direction of the Leave of Absence Manager, the Leave of Absence Resource administers employee leaves of absence for Ensign Services, Inc. and affiliated companies. This position also supports employees while on leave by communicating benefit information and ensuring benefit processes while on leave are in accordance with company policy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as a primary resource for LOA inquires, including, but not limited to FMLA, medical, military, personal, and workers’ compensation leaves.
Process all leave of absence cases timely and accurately in HRIS and Leave Management system.
Assist employees with all questions related to the Company’s leave of absence program, procedure, and policy as well as guidance on any applicable state programs and/or income replacement plans.
Prepare and send LOA communications, including notices and forms in compliance with FMLA or State requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate communication occurs between the employee, Human Resources and Managers.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all federal and state regulations.
Perform other duties assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years' experience in Leave of Absence administration (FMLA, military, pregnancy disability, medical, and personal leaves)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to prioritize, plan, and handle multiple tasks/demands simultaneously
High attention to detail and customer service oriented
Workday and AbsenceSoft experience a plus
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works in office area - Hybrid or Remote.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Salary California based Employee: Hourly: $28 - $33
Salary Any Other State based Employee: Hourly $25 - $31
