      Job Summary:
      The Leave and Worker's Compensation Specialist is responsible for administering and coordinating all leave of absence and worker's compensation programs for Erlanger employees. Ensures regulatory compliance by maintaining accurate documentation and record keeping of all processes and events. Evaluates and identifies improvement opportunities to enhance workers' compensation and leave of absence programs.

      Education:
      Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Nursing or a related field.

      Preferred: N/A

      Experience:
      Required:
      - 3-5 years of experience in human resources, benefits administration, or leave coordination.
      - Knowledge and understanding of FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation laws and leave-related regulations.
      - Working knowledge of OSHA, TOSHA, and/or Tennessee Worker's Compensation regulations.
      - Working knowledge of Employee Health practices
      - Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, regulations, and compliance.

      Preferred:
      - Experience with workplace safety programs.
      - Experience in Occupational Medicine or similar clinic functions.
      - Litigation management background.
      - Experience preparing OSHA 300 logs.
      - Knowledge of insurance claims processing and case management.

      Position Requirement(s): License/Certification/Registration
      Required:
      Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Tennessee (applies to nursing candidates only)

      The Nurse Licensure Compact will not change how to obtain or renew a Tennessee license. However, the Tennessee nursing license will be a single state license for Tennessee Residents or non-compact state residents. Tennessee licensure or multistate licensure from a compact state must be obtained within three months of hire for non-Tennessee residents.

      - Works independently under minimal supervision using sound judgment to effectively handle challenging situations.
      - Ability to collect, analyze and apply data and other information; prepare and present written and oral reports.
      - Strong computer skills.
