What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the leave administration process, including communication with employees and supervisors
- Monitor leave statuses related to FMLA, ADA, and other medical leaves, ensuring accurate documentation
- Advise managers and employees on leave laws and procedural requirements
- Oversee the return-to-work process for employees coming back from leaves
- Maintain accurate records of leave and accommodation requests in compliance with legal requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree from an accredited institution and four (4) years of Human Resources experience focused on leave administration
- OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field and two (2) years of relevant experience
- Experience working in a Human Capital Management (HCM) system
- Knowledge of benefits administration, FMLA, ADA, and Workers Compensation laws
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience conducting training sessions on FMLA and ADA processes
- Familiarity with auditing leave-related data and benefit reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interpersonal skills for effective conflict resolution
