Job Description

- Teach undergraduate finance course(s).
- Responsible for conducting all scheduled classes, meeting course requirements as established by the Shidler College of Business, course preparation, grading, maintaining weekly office hours and being accessible to students.
- Work under supervision of Department Chair In integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in discipline area.
- A Master’s degree in finance or Master of Business Administration or related field; PhD student with finance concentration; or equivalent.
- PhD in Business Administration with concentration in finance.
- Recent professional work experience, relevant to the courses.

Part-time; non-tenure positions to teach finance courses such as BUS 250 Applied Mathematics in Business, BUS 313 Economic and Financial Environment of Global Business, BUS 314 Business Finance, FIN 301 Personal Financial Planning, FIN 305 Problems of Business Finance, FIN 307 Corporate Financial Management, FIN 311 Investment, FIN 321 International Business Finance, FIN 490F Finance Estate Planning, FIN 456 Sustainable Finance, RE 300 Principles of Real Estate, RE 330 Real Estate Appraisal/Analysis in Spring 2026 and Summer of 2026. Appointments are contingent upon position availability, course offerings, sufficient enrollment and availability of funds.
