      Job summary

      We are looking to recruit two Lecturers in Nursing (1x full-time, 1 x part-time) based at one of our Satellite colleges and Practice Partners. The role will be based at Bradford College, and there will be an expectation that the successful candidates will travel to the University of Bolton to attend meetings and other events in order to meet the core business needs.

      Main duties of the job

      The key duties of the post holders will be to deliver a range of established teaching requirements and undertake student assessment activities with the support and guidance (as required) from senior academic colleagues.

      The role will provide an opportunity for an early career academic to gain a wide range of experience in learning, teaching and assessment practice.

      Relevant professional registration i.e. NMC registration is an essential requirement for this role along with a first degree and preferably a teaching qualification. We are particularly interested in candidates with contemporary experience in Nursing.

      • Honours degree in relevant subject area
      • Membership of the HEA within a specified
      • time frame
      • Registration with a relevant regulatory body e.g. NMC
      • PhD/Professional Doctorate or willing to complete within
      • specified timescales, or equivalent level qualification or
      • outstanding achievements in the professional field

      Desirable

      • A postgraduate qualification in relevant subject area
      • A relevant teaching qualification and/or fellowship status of
      • the Higher Education Academy (HEA), or a willingness to
      • obtain fellowship

      Experience

      • Experience in using and developing new technologies and professional practice initiatives relevant to the subject area
      • Experienced and able to publish results of research
