      Novo Nordisk, a global leader in diabetes and obesity care, is seeking a proactive and business-oriented Legal & Compliance Manager for our Switzerland affiliate, with a special focus on Obesity. The Legal & Compliance Manager reports to the Director Legal Ethics Compliance & Quality and will join a diverse team of passionate professionals.

      The position

      In this exciting new role, we are looking for a business and solution-oriented Legal & Compliance Manager to guide internal stakeholders and manage local legal, ethics, and compliance matters, with a sharp focus on Obesity.

      Your key responsibilities will involve:

      • Strategic Legal Oversight: Lead the implementation and assessment of legal strategies, policies, and procedures while addressing local legal requirements.
      • Obesity Priority Champion: Collaborate closely with stakeholders like the Obesity Business Unit to drive Obesity LEC priorities, promoting local ownership and accountability for key Obesity goals.
      • Ethics Integration: Drive processes and initiatives to secure legal, ethics and compliance by design and integration into decision-making within the affiliate's Obesity Business Unit.
      • Risk Management Expertise: Drive risk management processes and initiatives related to Obesity, implementing adequate mitigating actions.
      • Global Collaboration: Actively participate in the IO LEC Obesity Team, sharing knowledge and best practices across IO regions and affiliates to enhance compliance excellence.

      Qualifications

      You have decided to apply for this exiting role because you are solution oriented and already have multiple years of experience in a similar position, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry. You are an excellent communicator, self- managed and thrive in cross- functional environments.

      Furthermore, you will

      • Have a law degree, which is a prerequisite to be successful in this position.
      • Have a proven track record in driving continuous improvement and change, along with the ability to implement regular and registered feedback.
      • Have demonstrated reliability and trustworthiness in professional conduct and are a good communicator with a positive work attitude.
      • Have the ability to work in cross-function teams and able to build working relationships at all levels in a fast-paced working environment.
      • Possess a dynamic attitude and can handle stress effectively, especially in high-pressure situations with strict timelines.
      • Be proficient in working with IT systems.
      • Be fluent in English and a strong knowledge of German, preferably French as well.

      Novo Nordisk Pharma AG is the Swiss Affiliate, with over 90 employees, located at the Circle, Zurich Airport. The Swiss Affiliate belongs to Region North West Europe, which is part of IO (International Operations).
